Pisces 21 Recent Launchings
‘Milou’ was delivered to her home in Sorrento, Maine in early July 2012. In addition to her stunning woodwork and decks, she also has a diesel inboard engine. One of her very unique features is the ‘faux finish’ on her carbon spars which is just an incredible work of art. ‘Milou’s’ owners have been planning and dreaming of her for quite a while and we wish them all the enjoyment they so well deserve with their Pisces, ‘Milou’.
‘Dagny’ was built over early 2012, delivered to her new in New Hampshire and launched in July 2012. Here are a few photos of the construction, completed boat and launching. Her roller furling, teak decks and Beta 14HP diesel and Garmin GPS are a few of the options seen in these pictures. Her owners have owned many boats and knew exactly what they wanted in their Pisces. We are proud to have had the opportunity to build this special boat for them and know they will enjoy many sails aboard ‘Dagny’!
‘Bluefish’ launching May 2012, Hingham, Mass! We enjoyed beautiful summer like weather as we launched and sailed ‘Bluefish’ in her home waters of Hingham, Mass. It was wonderful to work with her owners who patiently assisted us while learning how to rig and launch their Pisces 21! It was a special day for all of us as we proudly turned our craft over to them to enjoy, explore and grow wit. Best wishes from all of us at Classic Boat Shop!
Bluefish will be leaving us soon for her home in Hingham, Mass. We wanted to show you her metamorphosis throughout the construction over the past few months. Enjoy! We wish her new owners fair winds and many wonderful memories. (Use your right arrow to transition faster )
We thought this would be a good opportunity to show you ”Pizazz’ from start to finish and put together a small slide show. It is always so pleasing to see finely varnished woodwork and the beautiful end product. Sometimes we forget how much skill and patience is involved as work progresses through the individual steps and details along the way. She will soon be launched in her new home waters of Annapolis
These photos document the construction of the Cold Molded Pisces 21 ‘Northwest’ throughout early 2011, her exhibition at the Maine Boats Homes and Harbors Show and her subsequent delivery, launching and maiden sail. It takes about 5 minutes to view at this speed but you can speed it up or slow it down through the options settings. Watching ‘Northwest’ evolve from some thin strips of cedar veneer to the completed beautiful boat gives one a greater appreciation of the skill, patience and craftsmanship involved with her creation.
