Service update for the week of 2/17/12

If there is one word to describe this week it would have to be ‘sanding’! There has been a lot of that going on as we have been prepping for spring varnish.  Another exciting project underway is the retro fit of a Beta 14 inboard diesel into the Pisces 21 ‘Bluefin’ built in 2008 without auxiliary power.  Her owner recently relocated to an area requiring power to enter and leave his slip and after much discussion decided a diesel.  We picked up the boat this week and will be delivering her in time for the sailing season.  Nick has begun modifying the rudder and aperture for the prop.
