Dyer 29 Profile

NAME: PATRIOT

TYPE: Dyer 29 Trunk Cabin/Soft Top Cruiser #323 BUILDER: Dyer Yachts

COMMENTS: The Dyer 29 is a legendary boat, often referred to as the “Original Picnic Boat” and claims the right of the longest running production model in the history of US boatbuilding. Originally introduced in 1955 the model has been refined with modern technology and a higher quality fit and finish but the hull form hasn’t been touched because they got it right the first time. The semi displacement hull is easily driven seaworthy and with enough horsepower can plane beyond hull speed to over 20 knots. A classic little yacht well suited for family day boating or cruising as well as offshore fishing. ‘Patriot’ has been used in saltwater for only one season, engine has only 413 hours.
